Almost 30 years ago, Scott D. Jackson, who believed in the collective power of associations, joined with his peers, and conceived what is known as the Pennsylvania Society for Association Excellence. In honor of Scott and all of his efforts to uplift the association industry, yearly, the PASAE Foundation bestows the honor of the Scott Jackson Leadership Award to an association professional and PASAE member, who exemplifies Scott’s leadership skills and all that he embodied in the association space.
Nominations for the 2022 honoree are now being accepted.
The Scott D. Jackson Leadership Award includes: • A presentation eagle; • A $500 contribution to the charity of recipient’s choice; • Inclusion on a permanent plaque honoring all Scott D. Jackson awardees; and • An invitation to serve on the PASAE Foundation Awards Committee.
Current individual and association PASAE members may submit nominations of other current. The 2022 award will be presented during PASAE’s and the PASAE Foundation’s joint holiday activities in December. To be nominated, candidates must:
• Be a member of an Association Executive leadership team; • Have at least 10 years of association management experience; and • Demonstrate a demonstrated long-standing commitment to PASAE through leadership and service to PASAE above the level of participatory, innovative and outstanding programming for PASAE, event participation, statesmanship, and mentoring.
